Visitors trek to the peak of Kiltepan Mountain in Sagada to witness an amazing view of the sunrise. It was raining the night before our climb to the peak and we were told that our chance of seeing the sunrise was very slim.
We arrived at the site very early while braving the coldness of the morning. We kept watching our clock with uncertainty while waiting for the sun to show up. Lo and behold, the dark clouds gave way to the dramatic rising of the sun. Luck was in our favor. If there's one thing we learned, it's about not giving up. After all, sunrise symbolizes hope and a new beginning.
